(Sarah, four years ago today)HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY, SARAH!
Today, our little princess has turned four. I cannot believe how fast time has passed.
With her birthday comes more big news. The stem cell study in Mexico is officially opening their procedure to those children who would like a second treatment. We have already set up Sarah's second treatment for next March. This would be at the one year mark of her first treatment in Mexico. I'm so happy that Sarah was included in this study. I hope that the results of her procedure one day help to make this a common place procedure for all children with CP.

ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear more about her stem cell treatments and what study they are doing in Mexico! I saved my youngest daughter's cord blood in the hopes of one day being able to use it for Maddy. When Cord Blood Registry received it, they said she must be an over achiever because they got almost double what they normally get for stem cells! I'm praying that this is a sign and will be helpful for Maddy...and of course, Sarah too!

Happy Birthday Sarah, all the best wishes and good luck with the second treatment. Lina I am sorry I haven't emailed you in awhile but we where planning the big trip too for Meeras treatment and we are finally here in Ukraine Intern. rehab center for intensive therapies. Once we back home I will tell you all about it.
